Pat Trainor, Principal
Pat has more than 20 years’ experience in civil engineering and project management.
Most recently Pat oversaw the $100 million multi-level car park and plaza development at Adelaide Airport, which included the installation of the adjoining footbridge, water feature, Subway and WHSmith Express retail outlets. He oversaw the demolition of the old domestic terminal, the expansion of the long-term car park and the first construction phase of the $26 million terminal expansion project.
Pat also has 15 years’ experience in the Defence Force Reserves. In 2010 he was selected from the Reserve Army for operational service in Afghanistan as the Garrison Engineer Afghanistan. In this role Pat led a large team responsible for maintaining all Australian facilities and infrastructure from Kabul to Kandahar.
Pat has served as a member of the Development Assessment Panel for the City of Tea Tree Gully for seven years, giving him significant local government experience.
Pat is a Chartered Professional Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
John Laird, Senior Construction Manager
With more than 35 years industry experience, John has delivered a multitude of projects across all sectors of the construction spectrum. Many of these projects were delivered through the ‘design & construct’ model demanding detailed knowledge of the town planning process combined with a real understanding of the built form and the regulations that determine this product.
This fundamental skill was then extended into land sourcing, development projects, and the complex feasibility studies that underpin such projects.
John has contributed back into the industry in many ways including Deputy Chair of the Industrial Development Committee of the Property Council (SA Division), Director of the Construction Industry Training Board, and co-founder and Committee Member of the Lean Construction Institute (SA Chapter).
Rob Deborsey, Senior Project Manager
Rob is an experienced project manager and surveyor with more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry.
With expertise in a variety of construction types, Rob has a thorough knowledge of development and construction processes, contract and tendering variations, and compliance management across the education, housing, health, commercial and domestic sectors.
Originally from Manchester, Rob is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Chartered Institute of Building.
Eddie Katari, Senior Structural Engineer
Eddie holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from METU University, Turkey with emphasis on advanced structural engineering and design.
Eddie has a wide range of experience gained in Australia and overseas. He has been involved in a variety of projects, including commercial, retail, industrial and residential buildings.
Since joining Anson Solutions in 2010, Eddie has undertaken the design of several steel and concrete structures as well as timber framed buildings.
Sandeep Baral, Senior Civil Enginner
Sandeep has over 15 years of experience in civil engineering and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with emphasis on civil infrastructure design and documentation. Sandeep has a wide range of experience gained in Australia and overseas. He has been involved in a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial sub-divisions and residential and commercial building related civil design. Since joining Anson Solutions in 2015, Sandeep has undertaken numerous building related civil design projects.
Sandeep also has experience in conducting main drainage, sewer and water design and construction audits.
Mike Omari, Project Engineer
Mike holds a Bachelor degree in Structural & Civil Engineering, and has a diverse range of experience gained from working on a number of significant international projects.
His experience includes large scale government, commercial, and residential buildings, with significant experience in project supervision and cost control of structures for concrete buildings, bridges, and steel structures.
Mike is also a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
